Thanks must go to SmellySell for this one. Who loves you man.

Pours the darkest of cola colors, with a milk chocolate, dense/finely bubbled head that at it's apex reaches about one finger in height. Once settled, this Porters head retains a foamy, creamy and clumpy cap - with sheets clinging to the pint glass, slowly morphing into stands of frothy beauty cascading down...

Aroma is of toasted caramel malts - hinting wafts of peat smoke waver throughout. A good amount of sweetness - molasses and horse feed - no shit - and it works well. Perhaps a scoop of bakers chocolate and coffee - heavy on the cream please.

The taste is just chocked full with roasted grains and sweet malts. Nice addition with the light hardwood/peat smoke... adds that extra dimension. What really pops is the caramel malt spine to this - love it. Very well balanced over all.

Moderate in body. Smooth almost creamy mouthfeel. Carbonation is near perfect. No hint of alcohol - pure quaffability.

This is an excellent Porter - extremely drinkable, with all the qualities one would be looking for when they think "Hey! I want a Porter!" Nothing big about this at all, just straight ahead good shit. I wish I had a sixer, as I would love to make a session of it. Just what I needed on a rainy evening such as today.
I have to comment on the label. How cool are pigs at a bar, dressed to the nines, with no pants on! And hoisting huge mugs of beer at that! I want a poster of this label - cracks me up.
Smelly - thanks again man! That box was truly epic... and I still have a few more to review.
**Reminder to self: Get you some more of this Porter, Foo!!
Highly Recommended.

Thanks to smellysell for the bottle!

Pours a deepred-brown with a 1/2" white head that settles into a bead that lasts the rest of the way. Aroma has notes of cocoa, faint coffee, roasty malts, faint earthy hops and toffeeish sweetness.

Starts out with faintly brown malt and coffee flavors, some faint malt sweetness and earthy hops that extend through to the end, when the coffee notes come back. Delicious but subdued - it's like someone turned the volume down; the flavors are all there, they're just not up very loud. Thinnish mouthfeel, but it's all day long drinkable.

This one tears me - half of me wishes it were more robust, the other half wishes I were in a bar where it was on tap so I could have four or five of 'em!
