Picked up in Colorado. Pours through a crystal clear amber color with good head retention and limited lacing.
The smell is hoppy with a stronger presence of floral hops. Espically with a citrus flare. A rather basic malt backing but some hints of caramel and roasted are slightly present. Also there is a slight yeasty smell which is a bit surprising.
The taste has a sweet rather limited malt backing. Tastes of roasted and touches of caramel. There is a grapefruit zest to the hop flavor that isn't lights out but blends well witht he malt. At the end there is also a earthy, almost woody, flavor.
The body is a little light for an ESB but still good. Overall this is a better then average but more American feel ESB.

Color is a nice golden orange with a medium ivory cap of whipped froth. It has steady bubbles within the glow of the body and the cap keeps a good steady weight on top which hardly ever moves from its seat. Lacing is in thin broken sheeting.
Aroma is quite nice here with a pleasant diplay of fresh herbal hops with a twist of citrus and a great biscuit bread backing thats clean and crisp. Notes akin to a musky burnt popcorn as it nears the bottom of the glass.
Taste has a clean profile with a mild brigade of hoppyness bringing in some floral tones, citrus, and slight herbal woodyness. The malt backing of biscuit malts is super nice, very crisp and earthy with a lingering kinda burntness and grain husks. Nice finisher. Well rounded and balanced. A very good taster bordering the aspects of some Pale ales with a nice Vienna twist of grains thrown in.
Feel is quite clean, quick but flavorful, slides right down with an excellent finish. I could, and probably will, drink alot of these. A super session beer 'tis true.
