Pours a dark amber, very little head, not much retention, and very little lace.

Smells buscuity malts, mildly piney and floral hops.

Taste is caramel, malt and omly mildly hoppy. Had a somewhat cardboard taste to it. Smelled better that than it tasted.

This was an ok Pale Ale. Not something I'll go out of my way to look for again.

Poured lighter shade of amber with foamy and sticky head on top. Great clarity and good retention and lacing which lasted through the full tasting. Maybe a tad dark for style.

The nose balanced nicely with the malt and hops. There is a little husky and grainy tastes. Some toffee and sweet almost sugary aromas in the finish as well. A good blend of citrus and cascade notes as well.

The taste is also balanced. The malt is limited in taste with more grainy and light caramel flavors but basic flavor overall. The hops are prominent with a light bitterness and a good citrus, orange zest and cascade.

The body is mid but to style. A bit watery at the end but still brings enough sweetness and flavor through to be considered a good beer. Nice sessional beer.

Got this in a mixed GD Brewer's Pack. 12 oz bottle poured into a nonic.

A: Poured a golden with a nice white head. The head diminishes quickly falling to soapy rings that leaves some nice sticky lacing.

S: Nothing special here, just a little buttery scent, hops and malt.

T: Floral hops that are a little sweet. Malt hits quickly later that balancing. There is a piney, metallic aftertaste.

M: Medium almost high carbonation. Very creamy, has a little heat on the back of your throat. The beer still is a bit thin for my tastes.

D: Pretty drinkable because of the almost watery nature. Flavors are full but nothing too amazing. Decent beer.

Beautifully bright copper color, medium sized foamy creamed cap of ivory hue sits briefly, moderately laced with thin patchy sheets. Keeps some thinner foam on top along with a foamy collar pretty much the entire glass.
Aroma has a dry leafy/wood hoppyness, touches of peach and orange, toasty, raw breadish malt backing.
Flavors are about the same, little more of a malt sided pale with a dull sweetness of toasty bread and a somber caramel blending within, midway brings in some slight fruity malts and hops, notes of dark orange, finishes nice with a complexing little display of hops, tame bitterness overall, leafy, woodish and floral hops with a super squeezed in piney bite and some tannic and metallic hints. Feel is about medium with a somewhat loosened slickness and creamyness. Finishes dry with a narrowing chalky texture.
No real cohesiveness to its body, its just kinda there. Not what I prefer out of a Pale, but not bad...but there's better.
