Bottled Nov 12, 2011.

It pours a clear brownish red with a small head of foam that soon disappears leaving no lacing behind.

There's oddles of raspberry in the nose, both sweet and sour, and lots of and I'm digging the aromas big time.

The tannins from the wine barrel aging takes the number 1 spot with raspberry tartness taking second place. There's a mild fruity sweetness about mid palate but the sour rules it. This is very tasty fresh and I'm curious as to how it would be with some time on it but I'll leave that to others as this is my only bottle.

About medium bodied and light with the carbonation, the mouthfeel is on par with a fine wine.

Very drinkable despite the hefty abv, I'm very happy that I got to try it. Very good stuff.
