Color is a clear golden yellow with a thin white creamy foamed head, some spotty lace.
This smells like an IPA, oh....so hoppy fresh. Nice estery aroma of peach and a bit of apple, super bright and strong on the nose, just as it should be. A treasure of pleasure to wiff.
The taste is nicely bittered hop, firm & mild, lightly earthy, supreme drinking here. Has a waxy/oily feel and is quite full with dulled lightly bittering dryness, ...nice! I was surprised to say the least, the goose has landed, I'm impressed, good job on this IPA. Hopheads should be able to enjoy this I would think, I did, and I don't consider myself to be, but I know decent IPA's when I drink em and this fits right up there.

Pours a golden amber color that is clear. Decent head that last for a time but eventually fades. Same with the lacing.

A good smell with a hoppy with a citrus kick that is more orange then lemon. A good spice that is more piney then anything. The malt is in the background and smells of sweeter basic malt.

The taste is strong on the piney hop taste but not really oily. The taste is mostly aroma hops and not much on the bittering. Mostly a sweet grape taste. There isn’t much of the flavoring hops but the aftertaste leaves a noticeable citrus hop taste. The malt is minor and is mostly basic malt. Some residual calky taste is noticeable but insignificant.

The body is a medium grade and good drinkable score. I thought this was a great session IPA. Not a hop heads best but still very good.

Got this one as an extra in a recent trade with drewbeerme, thanks. This beer was one of my first craft beers (along with the Honker’s Ale) and I have not had this beer in close to two years, so I’m excited to try this one again and this time in proper glassware.

Poured a golden apricot color with a good inch of foam, which maintained itself very well for about 2 minutes. A very thin coat of white bubbles was left and produced a few legs of lacing which clung to the walls of the glass as the foam subsided.

It had aromas of citrus peel, grapefruit, spices, pineapple, yeast, sweet bread dough, caramel, a bit of toast, hints of mango, and zesty carbonation as in a club soda. A very decent blend of aromas that where not as in your face as some west coast ipas but subtle is sometimes good when it’s well done, and this is one of them. I liked the spicy notes and the yeast esters in this one, they reminded me of a saison. After it began to warm up I got some hints of orange blossom honey.

Taste is again more subtle than the west coast examples I am used to but this one makes a nice session beer. The beer was dominated with bread and toast flavors upfront followed quickly by some pine needles and citrus.

The carbonation was spot on which made the mouthfeel a bit more creamy than medium.

I like this beer for what it is; it’s not trying to be over the top with citrus hops and bitterness but a well balanced beer and well crafted. I hope to drink this more often.

Very good brew. Pours amber color, only slightly cloudy. Nice foam head attatched. Smell is good, nothing fancy, but solid. Taste is full of hops, and a slight pine taste. Very drinkable brew for it provides, thanks for the chance to try it kc.
