You'll have a soft spot for this one. Using only fresh Michigan tart cherries, this beauty tantalizes with intense flavors combined with a no hesitation malt bill. Adding fresh cherries at five separate stages of fermentation achieves the ultimate balance between tartness and sweetness.

Husky dulled body of medium crimson orange with a slimmed cherry kool aid pinked bubbly capping. A few thin strings of lacing get stretched across the glass.

Muted aroma of tart earthy cherry and a bit of sweet malt underneath.

Taste has a nice sweetened tang of dulled tart cherry thats semi sharp with a light smack on the lips, then the tongue, but drops off quickly to a light finish that drys just a titch earthy. Tiny touches of cinnamon and brown sugar emerge as it goes along.

Tangy, sweet, nearly medium body with a muted tartness and a second half that's a bit empty but is plenty likeable as it stays just clean and sharp enough as to bend the palate just right into an acceptable tone.

A well balanced and toned down tartened sweet cherry beer that may be a good starter fruit beer for those not quite ready for the big sour brews out there.

Interesting color, but it looks more like soda than beer. Decent head of tight, white bubbles.

Cherries, and little else that resembles beer in the smell. Reminds me a lot of Wisconsin Belgian Red so far, and that's a good thing.

Damn tasty, and good carbonation makes it really feel like this is some kind of soda. Tastes quite a bit like cherry 7-Up. Serve it very cold, this is not a beer that will be best enjoyed while warm.

Mouthfeel is very light, but the sugary aftertaste sticks around for a long time. The carbonation is spot-on.

I wasn't really expecting much out of this, but I'm enjoying it more and more as I drink down the bottle. It's not a session beer though, it is way too sweet for that. Perhaps something of a gateway beer, though. Or maybe for the wife who doesn't like most beers.
