Common examples include: procrastination, fidgeting, overspending, nail-biting. Pours a very clear amber red color with a light brown hue through out. A little light for style but ok. A soft fizzy head that hid to the edge of the glass and not much for lacing.
The nose is sweet, even for a quad. A candy like sugar nose up front with some minor sweet caramel and malty undertones. Not a whole lot of depth or complexity. Very limited yeast aromas, too clean in a way. Some minor plums and figs notes but subtle. Some minor medicinal and light metallic/coiny notes but light.
The taste is bit more on style but still lacks that distinct Quad taste. The malt is sweet with sugary note and a mild caramel malt taste. Limited overall, I would like to see more depth and body. The esters come out a bit more versus the nose. Some plums and raisins with a light sweet orange flavor. A bit too clean for yeast but only minor off notes. Light plastic/medicinal, no where near the nose. Some minor alcohol, very clean considering the ABV.
The body is moderate to moderate full. Really lacking the depth and complexity that I would like for a quad. Carbonation is light but ok. Some warming from the alcohol, but mostly clean. Overall, easy enough to drink but just needs to take a step further with the malt and yeast temps to add that complexity.

Deep copper-amber, and looks to be unfiltered. Not much of a head, but a fine ring of bubbles left behind.
Not really a ton going on on the smell, but I do get some Belgian sourness, along with some faint spices.
I am all about this beer. It is a wonderful balance of sweetness and Brett sourness. I taste the spices from the smell, and it finishes with a strong alcohol.
Good mouthfeel. Not overwhelming, but solid. Carbonation is present, and tickles for a long time, along with some lingering sourness.
Wonderful beer, one of the more interesting beers Founders has produced.

A - Rusty, copper colored body with a slight haze to it. There was a little bit of head on the pour, but that left right away.
S - Candy sugar sweetness. Bubblegum is huge. Cinnamon.
T - Candy sugar, cinnamon, and cherries. Cloves, a little spicy. Alcohol taste in the middle and the aftertaste. Bubblegum finish.
M - Medium body. Subdued carbonation.
D - This isn't a bad beer, but there are many better representations of the style.
