A: Cloudy amber fig color with a nice creamy toasted marshmallow color head.
S: Raspberry, cherry, lot of strawberry and honey butter
T: Really sweet and fruity, loaded with mixed berries almost like pie filling. Good dose of cherry cough syrup as well. Malty caramel sweeps in balanced by 120 ibu’s of bitterness on the top of the tongue. Tangy citrus hits mid palate with grapefruit rind lingering on the back of the tongue.
M: Medium body, lightly carbonated for a DIPA but still balanced.
D: Overall enjoyable but seems more like a barleywine than a DIPA.

A - Pours a nice orange colored body with a slight chill haze to it. Tons of bubbles racing around in the glass as well as clinging to the walls of the glass. Head is thick and tan, about one finger thick. Great retention.
S - Lots of bittering hops here. Lemon zest and a bit of pine. Big caramel malt backdrop. Alcohol is obvious.
T - Starts off with a nice hop bitterness that has sort of an earthy twinge to it. Big, huge even malt base comes in and takes this beer over for a bit. Caramel malt mixes in with pale malts to create a nice rich flavor. More bitterness before there is a nice flavor of fresh dough. Bitterness through to the aftertaste. Alcohol warms the belly a bit at the end.
M - Full bodied and oh so smooth and creamy. The great thick head retention leaves a feel that reminds you almost of a nitro beer.
Overall - Pretty sure Westside Threat mentioned it, but this drinks like a young barleywine. Good strong bitterness is balanced nicely by a big malt load.
