Thanks NFLMVP for this bottle.

Pours a deep mahogany color with a small off-white head of tiny bubbles that stick around for a bit. The foam settles to leave a nice layer coating the top of the beer and a wall of lacing clinging to the sides of the glass.

Semi-sweet warm malt notes up front with a nice smooth caramel aroma. Toasty and bready they mingle nicely with a slightly subdued hop aroma. Very light berry and grapefruit aromas with a touch of roasty malt.

Smooth malty body with plenty of biscuity and carmel malt. Low sweetness and a hint of dryness along with a low carbonation. Hops impart a nice fruitiness with notes of light berry and a touch of orange. Slightly creamy in the aftertaste.

I've never really been that into English IPAs but this one is really nice. Suppose part of it is that you don't see the style all that often from US brewers and by the time some are imported and sold, what little hop character they had, has faded a good bit.
