Color pours slightly darker than expected and "Gold to Amber" as the bottles says on the side. Smell is stronger than expected as well. Borderline Double IPA, if you ask me. Plenty of hops citrus, pine sap, etc. Much stronger than a usual IPA, even an American IPA. Taste follows the smell, more bitter, hoppy, citrus, pine, whatever than implied by the style. But interestingly, it fades rather quickly. Ends with a decent bitterness that isn't as overwhelming as the first taste. The ending is actually closer to the style as I would expect. Feel is thin, not much "sticky" about it. Pretty good, with a very slight bitterness taste that lingers a bit.

Overall, this one is very good despite being a bit stronger than expected for an American IPA. As usual, Flossmoor puts out another very good bottle. We've come to expect that from them though. Big fan of their work top to bottom, and a big fan of this one too.
