On tap at the brewery.
Pours pitch black with a thick dark tan head. Swirls bring out an even darker blend of foam. Settles nicely into a thin layer of mocha covering the entire brew. big league alcohol in the nose. Bourbon leads the way for some dark roasted malts, almost a burnt smell. Chocolate brings up the rear with some sweetness to it. Taste is great. Chocolate upfront with the bourbon kicking in as it's swirled around the pallet. Some of the fruitiness from the smell makes it into the flavor. Dark cherries?
Solid all around brew, that blends the big alcohol flavor nicely with other strong flavors.
