Thanks to Gator for the bottle!

A - Pours black. Looks a touch thin, but this one is letting no light get through the body. Beige head is about one finger tall and made up of tight bubbles. Nice retention.

S - Big roasty dark malts. Oats and roasty coffee all over the place here. Light lactic quality. Roastiness is really what the aroma is all about here.

T - Really nice smooth roasted malts start this one off. Where there was really no hint of barrel aging in the odor, it is very present in the flavor with light bourbon and a nice charred oakiness. Some sweetness of milk chocolate finsihes this one off.

M - On the heavy side of medium bodied. Very smooth feel to it.

Overall - The more of the "bigger" Firestone beers, the more I like them. If they bottled this stuff regularly, there would be massive demand. Super approachable, but yet super tasty. Very nicely crafted and balanced.
