Is it a brown duck or a brown rabbit. Pours a darker mahogany brown color with noticeable red hues throughout. Good head and retention with small sized bubbles and limited lacing.

The smell was mostly malty and a plentiful aroma. Roasted quality is present but slight coco touches and a few earthy hop tones are lifted in the background.

The taste has a more noticeable roasted malt complexity. A good balance of caramel and roasted, but some astringent burnt taste come out to play. Maybe a bit harsh for a brown. The malt is strong with good dextrin taste. The hops are very limited and some traces are present near the end with an earthy yet bitter remnant tone.

The body is good as should be. Carbonation is light as should be. Overall a good beer that could be smoother but still a good taste and well represented on a harsher brown flavor. If your color blind does it matter what color the animal you see is?
