Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Clown Shoes pint glass.

The color is a cloudy orange/amber with some yellowish highlights and a foamy off-white head with some nice lacing left on the glass.

The smell is pretty darn sweet with a fruity citrus flavor that I am having problems placing. Some slight banana flavor as well.

The taste is pretty darn bitter at first with a thick flavor of spicy hop flavor and a touch of citrus flavor. Some sweet malt flavor hits pretty hard as well and is fight for dominance in this beer. The hops are there more so it is no surprise the bitterness comes back to pop your sense once more before the end.

The feel of this beer is pretty damn smooth. For a bitter beer there is no lingering flavor that outstays its welcome. The refreshment is right on the money and goes down well.

A - Hard to pour into a pint glass, this beer is so fizzy. Pours a light orange color with some wisps of haze through the body that look like a weird smoke in the beer. Very interesting. Head is tan and a full one finger with great staying power.

S - Bigger citrus hops than expected from an English IPA. Sweet caramel malt backbone to balance it out.

T - Orange and grapefruit hops give way to a slightly biscuity, caramel malt backgroung. Surprisingly hoppy for a EIPA.

M - Medium bodied with nice, smooth carbonation.

D - This might be the best English IPA that I have had. I typically don't like the style, but this one is quite nice.

Poured into a Marietta BRewing glass courtesy of coldchill... THe pour yeilds a nice medium/dark amber color that forms into a nice sized off white foam head. The smell is very good, hoppy. THe taste has a very hoppy start and a smooth crisp pine finish. This, i think is my first E IPA and is a very good brew. Easy to drink.
