A - Pours a bright orange body with a decent haze to it. Head is small, tan, and made up of uniform tight bubbles. Sticky lacing. Nice looking brew.
S - Sweet fruity hops. Orange juice and a touch of tangerine. Some strawberry sweetness. Pears. Backed up with slightly biscuity, but mostly caramel malts.
T - Taste is much more sweet than hoppy, which might not have been the case when this was first bottled. Lots of fruitiness with strawberries, orange juice, apple and pear. Light caramel. Slight anise note. Bready in the backgroud.
M - Medium to full bodied. Smooth carbonation. Very nice.
D - Good beer here. Even though I like my DIPAs to be super hoppy, this is a very drinkable, tasty brew. Almost a barleywine. Thanks again Mike!
