330 ml bottle with No. 42 on the label.It pours black with a 2 finger head of tan foam and does well with the lacing.
The aromas I get are Port, chocolate of the very sweet kind, and roasted malt.
The taste brings big chocolate sweet, a near domination flavour of Port, roasted malt, a hint or 2 of some bitter notes that's dark chocolate and coffee like, and more Port with a nice snap of vanilla. It's VERY warming but comforting.
Full bodied with sometimes medium, sometimes lightish levels of carbonation, this is a brew to relax and enjoy but I dare not drink back to back. This sucker is potent!
