A: Somewhere in between amber and hammered copper with cherry highlights. Body is still with a forced bisque colored head ringing around the glass.
S: Smells like cherry Nyquil. Almost medicinal and rounded opposed to tart cherries.
T: First it has the bite of Rainier cherries with hints of lemon zest. Then in the mid palate is where wild yeast brings to mind cherry icecream…like black forest with out the chocolate. Maybe vanilla flavored black forest yogurt? You betcha. A bitter bite enters around the back sides of the tongue. At the center of the tongue brett hits then a crisp bite hits the back, where the flavor whirls a bit. The tart cherry finish lasts for days. The back center of the tongue hosts one of the best finishes I’ve found. Banana cream pie, nutmeg and peach with pie crust sit and just wallow in goodness. Freaking awesome. As it warms, cranberry juice type thoughts come to mind due to the tartness.
M: Medium bodied but on the thinner side. Carbonation feels tight, not as carbonated as expected.
D: This is mighty fine. The flavor is succulent and the complexity is through the roof. So well crafted it makes me misty eyed.
