What hit me initially was that this was pretty similar to Pliny the Elder with a bit more sweet malt flavor. Nice! It is hoppy yet balanced. It hits you with the citrus hop scent brought on by cascade hops, then follows with a taste similar to Sierra Nevada Torpedo compliment of the citra hops. I was wondering if Coast would go for the hop bomb here and just throw flavor balance out the window. Well, they didn't. Everything blends together nicely. It even has that hazy look that I got from PTY. This was a very good beer and I enjoyed it much more than Hopart. Hopart will settle my lust for hops, but this covers the whole spectrum.
