Wonderfully bright golden orange pour with a few fingers of bubbly white head atop the brew. Lightly hazed throughout. Aromas kick off with a great bright fruitiness with a medley of orchard fruits. Cedar spiciness kicks it up and adds an intricate woody aspect to the brew. Crisp malt undertow with pepper citrus and lime. Really interesting.
First sip brings a big mix of fruit and cedar upfront. Somewhat tart with spicy wood tones all over the place. Lemon zest with a citric pepper twist on the way down. Herbal accents and a touch of bitterness. Cedar lingers. I thought this was really tasty and unique!
Mouthfeel is smooth and easy going with good carbonation. A very drinkable brew. This one really surprised me and I loved how all the flavors played with the cedar as well. Many thanks to braconid for hauling this one back from FL for me. Very happy to have been able to drank it!
