A: Attractive brown sugar color with mad bubble activity in the glass. There’s also quite a bit of sediment present, so the pieces are doing flips all over the place…getting tossed around by the carbonation. The head is a healthy size made up of medium sized bubbles, simply sand color.
S: Smell has a slight fruity sweetness to it with some soapiness, watery caramel, hint of almonds and a dryness in the highs.
T: Begins somewhat watery. Some basic caramel and brown sugar flavors but nothing profound or really interesting. Wheat adds a decent smoothness but again, nothing really interesting. Hints of red apple, some mineral flavors and honey sort of finish it out. Little cloying after a while.
M: Medium body and soft
D: Uneventful beer. Flavor is nice but nothing stands out to make it special. But…as it warms and as I drink it, the beer starts to grow on me. Still nothing special but quite drinkable.
