Light to medium gold color with a suspended brightness to it. Stark white puffy froth reaches about a half inch before quickly settling down to a good skim and collar. Lacing coats the glass in drifts of shelvingly layered small sheets.
Measurable bready aroma of pale wild rice and dry grassy starches.
Wonderful taster with a well-disposed length to its character. Lightly bready, mostly on the back end, crisp and entirely lager-like in the front and middle with a general lightened sweetness of bread grains and white toast. Receptively sweet with malt bringing a slight fruity balance of apple/pear/banana. Tiny flavorings of wild rice make a jump, then turns right into a big grassy spice very late in the finish and holds there for a brisk stay on the palate. Love the longevity of its flavors. It just won't let go.
Feel is favorably carbonated and clean with a brief crispness and well balanced natural malt profile bringing the body to a solid medium perfection. Creamy but crispifingly satisfying all around.
Appeasingly drinkable; perpetually downable, and very likable. A exemplary nice beer from Capital.
