Color is a clear dark golden yellow with a small off-white head that fades, leaves minimal lace in spots.
Aroma is awesome, buttery toasted bread, straight up, like right out of the toaster and put a pad of butter on it, nice little malty sweetness on top with a blend of grassy notes and herbal spice. Those Munich malts did there thing in this nose.
Also in the taste as well, malts worked there magic with more of the same things carrying over from the smell, smooth buttery feel, light to medium bodied with toasted bread all over the place with a incredibly nice little playing of sweetness and notes of herbs, flowers, and grasses floating on top and into a lightly crisp and dry finish. Heavenly smooth, and toast-a-rific! This was a very nice Capital brew to drink, so smooth and fulfillingly rich in the toasty malts. A great example of the style IMO.
