Jesus fucking christ. As soon as I undid the cage on this one, the cork hit the ceiling and I was cleaning up the beer that had sprayed everywhere. Open this one over a sink.
A - Good figure, careful pour still produces a big old soapy head. It's only slightly beige and reduces quickly. Body is a clean medium brown with reddish highlights.
S - Nice yeasty aroma in the forefront. Big brown sugar and dark fruits. Some candi sugar.
T - Belgian yeast is obvious. Sort of spicy with both pepper and nutmeg. Light leafy hops. Brown sugar and belgian candi sugar bring forth lots of sweetness.
M - Medium bodied with carbonation that is a bit hard.
Overall - Pretty nice brew, but nothing I would rave about. More bitter than your average Belgian, this is a Belgian Dark IPA really.

Had this one in a Belgian 6 pack sampler. Very F####ing glad I grabbed it. This is one of my favorite ones. Very powerfull smell and flavor. Pours a little darker than most orange/amber color. Very appealing smell. The flavor in this one is top notch, just a great brew.
