Fairly clear crimson with a slight browned tint. Fluffy pinkish capping of foam floats up to a medium stature. Keeps a good puff of foam always present and the lacing is mininally placed in some tiny dots and a few larger strings staying closer the surface of the liquid.
Aroma is of cherry pie filling; sweet, musky, and tart with an apple-y twist to it. Quite nice, very refreshing, clean, and forward.
Flavor is substantially set along a sweet sided cherry, a skad dark, but mostly bright with a unique twist of tartness that sits with a blend of strawberry and green apple within it. Its pretty quick on the tongue, it lashes at you with its blended sweet tartness of flavors mellowing out sooner then you'd expect and finishes with a pleasantly tart leftover tang surrounding the palate with a cherry tinge.
Feel is perky and tangily tarted with a cherry sweetness thats somewhat sugary and juice like. Mediumish body with an active bite of tartness creating some edge to its sweet flavors.
A solid Kriek thats sipable and more so. I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
