Brouwerij Drie Fonteinen's Framboos. The last time this bottle was released was circa 1999. The newest version, bottled 5/31/2011 was released at a festival in Copenhagen in May 2012. This lambic is packed with raspberries from start to finish. Pours out with a fair amount of carbonation, little retention, and the smell of fresh raspberries is immediate. Slightly sweet and very green nose. The taste is more raspberry varietals. Really fresh jam and slightly unripened raspberries, vanilla, oak, and a great musty funk. This beer started to get pretty sour near the end of the pour. Stunning really, and worth every bit it takes to get this beer. 6% ABV
