Strange color of slightly rusted brown, dark golden yellow with a thin but firm off-white head that sits briefly. Lacing in inky thin blobs and a collar remains present til about mid glass.
Aroma is highly floral and crisp, quite unique with lime skin notes at first but other citrus rinds of lemon and orange begin to combine over some passion fruit, apple, and pineapple with strong spicey grasses and resiny sweet laden hoppyness. Quite an interesting nose, changes from time to time and levels out as it warms keeping a solid citrusy hop nose and light dry malt backing. Elaborately attractive in the smell!
Taste is nice and clean with a highly floral tone to the hops at first but that gets pushed aside to let in citrusy things that dance around all the way through to the finish. A nice dry malt backing keeps the balance in check. Nice complexing little finish thats dry, crisp and hoppy with a resin spiced citrus lime-like tone that bitters calmly yet with a good lingering strength that mixes some with the dry malt backing. Intriguing flavors to say the least. Not overly hopped or monsterous but complexing and spicey with a favorable bittering little floral bite.
Feel is pretty close to full, sweet and citrusy full of bittering lime-like bite. Finishes well with dry spicey hop character that lingers in good length. One of the more interestingly citrusy IPA's I've had in awhile, I really liked the floral/citrus character this has. A keeper for sure eh!

A - Pours a dark golden colored body that is clear as day. Small off-white head sits atop, made of tight, uniform sized bubbles. Decent retention.
S - Sweet and spicy hops. Black pepper, slight orange, and strawberry. Bready pale malt and a bit of light, sweet caramel malt.
T - Sweet and fruity up front with loads of red fruits. Strawberry, raspberry and even a touch of cherry. Pale malt comes in a bit then gives way to light caramel. Finishes with a slightly bitter hop wash that finally brings in some of that citrusy presence.
M - Medium to light bodied and very smooth and easy going.
D - Super drinkable. Hard to believe this is 7%. Don't usually dig English IPAs, but this is quite good.
