Solid haze of yellow somewhat darkish in color, large white fluffy head grew fast but faded within a half minute or so to a solid skim always present and some lacing in small patches. Smell is very dullish and musty as hell with alot of wheat-ly malt sweetness, some lemonyness, banana, clove, it tends to give off just about every wild yeast on the spectrum, picks up some medicinal and wet cardboard fumes as well. Taste of unfiltered wheat and yeast abound in this hefe-weisse with a strong musty sweetness that really stands out. Good amounts of dullish lemon and banana plus, of course, lots of fluffy wheat malt and some clove bouncing around. Very solid finish of wheaty texture and grainy sweetness and has a bit of the yeast/cardboard showing up in a bit of the aftertaste. Feel is medium body softness in front and gains a bit of a chewy texture then finishes stronger then at first with lingering sweetness.
Overall this unfiltered wheat beer is a pretty good showing of the style and gets a bit nicer on the palette as it warms.

Had this on tap at a Brooklyn tap house at the Newark Airport while waiting on a connection flight. Served in a weizen glass.
A: Poured a beautiful deep orange, and hazy. If I didn't know better or see some head on this sucker, I would think it was orange juice. Head is frothy and deep white. The retention is ok, little to no lacing. Pretty.
S: Smell is of sweet wheat, cloves, lemon rind, oranges and orange peel, and a touch of banana. Smells fantastic.
T: Taste is of the nose. Sweet wheat and clove are present but the citrus elements really shine. Heavy orange presence. A touch of banana and bubble gum in the finish.
M: Light bodied brew that really is crisp and refreshing. Damn near perfect on the carbonation. The aftertaste is nice with citrus, and bubble gum.
D: This brew is perfect for summer and this was great to ease my troubled soul after being screwed out of a flight. May have been so good because my day was so bad, but it made me feel a hell of a lot better.
