Color is what I compare to the river water of the Mississippi on a good day. It looks like what its suppose to for a dark hefe, one ugly ass murky brown. The top was super fluffy and tall, nearly two inches of fluffy frothyness, liked whipped coffee cream, crumbles slowly to a fine small head that never leaves. Lace is everywhere, some sticks, some drips, mostly patches with some strings.
Smell is quite simple yet very nice, soft and light airy lemon, some maltness, a bit musty and a touch of banana and spice.
Taste is a nice mellow lemon flavor, easy tartness, balanced nicely with darker malts and wheat, a bit of breadish dryness, touch of banana and spice in there, smooth the entire gulp. Nice open and mellow medium body feel, mostly midway action then thins out nicely in the finish leading it to be drinkable beyond comprehension. One excellent, fine beer to drink any Ol' time, but favors the warmth of summer.

Old Review
.5 liter bottle I got in the brewery mixed 5 pack. Poured into a weizen glass bearing the name of the brewery. As you can see, I am intimidated by the name.

A: Poured a hazy medium to dark brown, when held to light has the appearance of a good clove honey. Really active in there with carbonation bubbles. The head was off white and beautiful, leaves som decent lacing and has decent retention.

S: This is where this beer shines. Has a great smell of fresh out of the fridge banana pudding. You can really smell some sweet bread, reminicent of Nila wafers, banana is big here and sweet. The malt and yeast comes together beautifully with sweet bread, I am repeating myself. There is a nuttiness to it. Just beautiful.

T: Taste is really big with the banana flavor, sweet cold bananas. The bread taste does not translate as sweet as it does in the nose, but is still great. Herbs and nuttiness is there. Very nice.

M: Very creamy. Goes down really easy, and has some nice active carbonation to it. After taste of sweet bread.

D: This is a very nice beer and although it comes across dark, it is still a very drinkable brew. It is not intimidating in flavor and very well rounded. Great beer.

Picked up this bottle today from SouthBay Drugs and Liquor.

Pours a light copper with a huge amount of off-white colored foam, literally about half of my weizen glass was filled with foam. The creamy foam slowly recedes. The body is a touch hazy but you can still see through it. The yeast pour certainly makes this one a touch darker, more like mahogany wood and cloudier, can’t see through it anymore.

Strong phenol aroma with notes of banana and clove, and a hint of citrus. Toasted malts, sweet wheat, bubblegum, a bit of chocolate, and multi-grain bread.

Light toast upfront, wheat, subtle bubblegum flavor, banana, and a touch of spices and clove. More clove on the finish and aftertaste with a little earthy flavor. Good, but rather thin on the finish. A touch of caramel near the end. Getting a little better but I would have liked a touch more sweetness. A bit of cereal and grain flavor. A little nutty flavor as well.

A tad too thin at first but good carbonation level and refreshing.
