Slightly chill hazed dark golden lemon hue with lots of scurrying bubbly activity within. Massive capping of just over two fingers high is created quickly and keeps its presense for quite a long time. The texture of the foam is fluffy, smooth with some bubbles that add a semi crunchy looking topping. Just a few patchy spots of lacing stick to the glass.

Aroma is a nose full of lush and rounded banana mush mixing with some apple and pear notes. Soggy clove and lemon rinds add some nice spicy aspects.

Taste is a well formed, paled tone of wheaty soggy sweetness of soft bread dough smooshed in with some undertone of banana and pear jam. Slightly crispy snap of spice and wheat germ dance into the end as it grabs airy yeastyness and light feathery spices while regrabbing more wheat texture and flavors late into the finish.

Body is about medium with an ease of soft supple smoothness the whole way through letting the flavors create its own ride of chewy wheaty tones, sweet and tangy dulled fruit, and airy spices. Its seemingly simple yet bold enough to keep it all in a nice Weizenbock balance.

A very solid brew and drinkable to a nice fashion of soft wheaty treats. If you enjoy a good wheat beer then this will probably satisfy that craving.

Price: $5.00 Served In: Weizen Glass
