Received this brew from gibby as an extra in a trade. Was pretty excited to see this one when I opened the box. Drank from my Ithaca Excelsior tulip while grilling and listening to some tunes.

Appearance- Pours a light hazy orange with a small quarter finger bright white head. The bubbles permeate my glass like Champaign but no cap remains. A supremely thin collar hangs on for dear life.
Smell- A lightly tart start on the nose with a somewhat fruity aspect. White grapes and red wine vinegar take charge but allow a touch of grass to show through. The malt actually makes an appearance with a light maize sweetness and crispy cracker toast. Perhaps a touch of lemon rind as the beer warms but the funkiness is pretty subdued.
Taste- Wow, sort of wish I could just copy and paste my nose description to the taste. Starts with a lightly acidic vinegar aspect that manages to stay lightly fruity and not all that intense. A touch of hay adds the lightest touch of funk but nothing is more prominent than anything else. Some white wine and lemon zest add the aforementioned fruitiness. There is a touch of light malt in the foreground but it's just hiding waiting to be totally dominated by the bugs in a couple months. The finish is ever so lightly tart and o' so delicious.
Mouthfeel- Surprisingly light carbonation that is soft and wispy on the tongue.
Drinkability- Well the drinkability of this brew is off the charts. Everything is in fairly great balance and it's amazingly approachable. I'd like to see a bit more sour/funk but that'll happen in time. Very tasty brew though that I wish came in 750's. Thanks Jeff!
