Sampled at the Brewery, 2001This is a fairly restricted offering, as far as I can tell this is only offered at the brewery, unlike the Rose de Gambrinus this does not have a proportion of cherries in it.
This framboise is quite clear in appearance. Has a reddish hue to it (though less so than the Kriek). Quite a strong raspberry aroma. Quite sour and dry with a nice fruitiness to it. The fruitiness is more of a nondescript kind than specifically from raspberries, though there is a bit of subtle raspberry flavor.
