from the 12oz bottle(best by 07/27/12)slow and easy because there's a lot of foam, which is cool.It has a hazy, bordering on cloudy, golden yellow colour and as the foam recedes, there's plenty of lacing.
The smell is SO Saison like; lots of yeasty notes, some coriander, clove, a hint of Brett.
It tastes like it smells with the addition of a nice earthy malt character and really no sign of any Brett. There's a flavourful bitterness here that I think comes from lemon zest but something else as well. Very good Saison and very easy to drink for an 8%'er.
I'm glad it's in town and comes in convenient 4 packs.
