Thanks to jhammerly and the one, the only - HMBIF.

Pours a dark, earthy, dirty lookin' amber - almost brown. Quite cloudy, with a thin white head, that to my surprise, disappeared very quickly - leaving only that ever present ring in the glass. A little swirling and up it pops again... ok, enough of that. Some lacing.

Aroma is of wheat and caramel malts. Some fruity-ness to it... green apple, overripe bananas and sour cherries. A mild spicy-ness also.

Definitely a strong wheat profile to the taste, along with toasted malts. Earthy.

Moderate to medium in body, fairly crisp and smooth mouthfeel. Adequate carbonation.

Not bad. Really, that is about all I have to say. Other than crisp, clean, refreshing... I enjoyed it. If someone were to hand me a sixer of it, I would immediately crack two...
Recommended.

Deep root beer brown copper toned color, quite clear. Large, light sandy whitened head that lasts for a good duration. Lots of thick, cob webby lacing sticks to the glass.

Soft cocoa-esk aroma with a bit of dark wheat grain and some old flour sourness.

Taste is pretty good with a great snappy tone of wheat and a calming bit of roast and cocoa. Firm lasting tang of deep breadyness with a slimming dryness as it finishes.

Feel is about medium with a bit of lightness in the front. Faintly drying and has a fairly bold wheaty hold and snappy tang.

Had this on-tap the other night and liked it alot and gotta say it favored far better then this bottled version. May have to go back and review the tap. As that was actually much better.
