12 oz bottle out of the holiday mixed case from Sam Adams. Served up in a tulip glass.

A: Pours an incredibly pale brown, tha borders on a pink color. Held to the light more pink comes out easily. Poured a decent pristine white head that dissipated to a thin white ring that lasted for an long time. Lots of active carbonation in this one. Still not as red or pink of a color I expect from a beer that has lambic on the label.

S: Smell is mostly of sweet grains first and foremost. Smells more like an ale than lambic (because that is what it is). There is some tart cranberry smells coming through. There is also a touch of sour milk scent coming out as well. This is a bit off putting.

T: Sweet grains and malt come out easily tasting like a sweet ale. Cranberry comes out a bit, but is slightly tart and vague. Merely an accent to the beer rather than a major portion of this beer. Barely any sour notes or heavy fruity presence. There is also the slight taste of milk that has gone past its prime.

M: Heavily carbonated medium bodied ale. ABV is not present at all. Really crisp beer that has a carbonation bite to it. Aftertaste is mostly of sweet grains.

D: This beer is meh and in no way makes my mind think lambic.

Had this after the Holliday Porter. The Porter put this to shame. Not a very good beer. You can taste the cranberries, so maybe that was the problem. Not much alcohol taste or anything else. Maybe it’s just not my style of beer. It was just a little too sweet.
