(Served in a Sam Adams glass)
A- This beer pours a hazy orange body with a racing carbonation supporting a thin film of snow white.

S- the bright full aroma of linden’s cherry cough drops dominates the aroma with no malt coming through at all.

T- The cherry flavor is chemical and has a medicinal bitterness to it with some corn DMS that lingers in a dry finish. There is also and artificial cherry flavor that hangs on long after each sip aswell.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel finishes with a tight fizz.

O- The artificial cherry flavor and strong corn flavor make it hard to drink and any other flavors are well hidden underneath those.

Color is a hazy deep golden yellow with a thin off-white head that fades somewhat fast, lace is spotty.
Aroma reminds me of watered down cherry flavored cough syrup, or maybe kool-aid, theres some wheat malts giving an overall sweetness in with the flat cherryness that seems artificial to me. A powerful nose as it warms but seems almost to much and a bit artificial.
Taste is sweet malts of wheat, pale and soft, with a kick of cherry tart flavor thats a bit to sweet and again comes across somewhat artificial and syrupy. A little hard to get past the cherryness with a bubbly carbonation and lighter feel that nearly makes it champagne-like. As it warms it becomes alot easier to handle and makes for a nice drinker but I don't think I'd have alot of this before the flavor starts to get old.

Got this out of a Sam Adams sampler acquired at the Jacksonville Grub Mart. Pour was in a standard 12oz mug.

A: Came across as a nice amber, a bit cloudy, with a nice foamy head. Pretty to look at.

S: Heavy on the cherries. Could smell the cherries as I poured and as it sat on the table between sips. Further investigation came up with a traces of grains, but you really have to search.

T: Once again, heavy with cherries. This is almost overpoweringly fruity. It is tasty at first but gets old fast. It is almost candy sweet. I was not that impressed, the girlfriend loved it.

M: I was crisp but did leave an almost syrupy aftertaste on the finish.

D: I couldn't drink more than one in a sitting. I thought it was too sweet. Once again, girlfriend loved it and is her beer of choice.

This was my biggest disappointment when it comes to Sam Adams. The cherries overpower any taste that a beer would have. To each his own, but this is not for me.
