Old Review
22oz bomber thanks to tprokop7. Poured into a shaped pint a la DFH. Lets hop in, shall we?

A: Poured an orange / honey like appearance. Got a good finger of head on this brew that had moderate retention which receeded to a thin ring which had very little foam in the middle. Lacing is streaking and incredibly sticky. As the brew goes down, it slowly crawls down the glass in a spikey manner. Great looking beer.

S: There is a good smell wafting from the glass. I get some nice hints of citrus hops, caramel malt, and grapefruit. There is some pine and resin in there too. Gets me interested in taking that first sip.

T: Semi-bitter citrus hops that have a touch of sweetness to it. Caramel malt balances this brew very nicely. Orange peel zest comes through very nicely. Pine and resin are there and both offer some more sweet bitterness. There is also some nuttiness in the background. It might be pecans or walnuts, still very faint but nice.

M: This is light-medium brew that is a little thinner than I imagined it to be. Has a somewhat watery manner to it. Bitterness lingers here in the aftertaste, but nothing mindblowing. Brew is very crisp and refreshing.

D: This is a really drinkable brew. Although the mouthfeel is thin, the look, aroma and taste make up for it. The thin-ness makes it go down easy and makes it very drinkable. The ABV is light and doesn't really rear its head. Pretty good beer.

Review from 11/18/06

A - Dull golden color. Slightly hazed, maybe due to the chill. Small head on the pour is now whisps on the surface.

S - Super earthly and grainy. Bittering hops.

T - Grainy grainy grainy. Wet corn stalks. Slight barnyard taste. "Musty" for the lack of a better description.

M - Medium bodied. Decent.

D - Ok beer, but not what I was looking for.
