A taste with love. The pour was cloudy and somewhat a darker straw yellow color then a typical wheat beer. Although this isn’t a typical wheat beer. Good head and lacing throughout the tasting.
The smell has a strong malt presence with a more grainy appeal. Not much of a wheat nose but some hefe-esk smells. Some banana and cloves as well as a candy like citrus aroma.
The taste has a strong presence of malt and the wheat flavor is much more noticeable then the nose would indicate. A full taste like easting wheat broth. The candy flavor comes out more as well with a nice blend to the grainy wheat flavor. Banana and clove esters come out more. More so then the hops with are light. Some light bitterness at front and a light citrus finish.
The body really is impressive here. Very full and very noticeable. The carbonation has little to no feeling but with such a big wheat flavor, it covers the taste. With high ABV, you really not notice it too much, but definitely warms you up as you go along. A great beer to love for sure.

A - Pours a murky golden color with loads of sediment. Head is butter colored and fluffy. Starts at about an inch. Good retention.
S - Wheat bread with some fruit. Apricot and orange. A little bit of banana and clove.
T - Big sweet flavors dominate this brew. Big orange and apricot hit right away. Some light sugar mixed with tangerine jam. Wheat comes in, but is only a sidecar to the sweetness here. Slight spice sitting in the background with clove and maybe a touch of nutmeg.
M - Medium bodied and super smooth.
D - Very drinkable, especially for the style. Was expecting it to drink much heavier than it does. While I think the age has done some good things to the drinkability and such, it seems like this is about 6 months past it's prime to me.

Pours a hazy medium amber that has a head that fades rather quick. Smell is sweet, banana? Taste is great, fruity sweet with a nice bitter finish. Awesome brew. So far 2/2 on the wheatewnes. Thanks a ton tangfoot.
