Nice copper color with a medium tone to its body. Nice capping of light tan foam sits atop in a firmly set smoothness. Dwindles down to a good skim and solid collar as the lacing is mid-light with some spotting and strings.

Aroma is well rounded and favoring a mostly fruity, apples, pear, those sugary malt juices thing with a caramel glimp and a light floral hop and leafy dryness.

Taste is not quite as broad as what the aroma gives way to, but still isn't all that bad. Rounded in more of a malty fruityness bringing an apple, pear, slight cherryish thing with a fair caramel lean along its front and middle. Finish has a floral hoppyness that closes in on some woody/cardboard dryness into the finish.

Feel is clean, and medium/light with a calm yet active carbonation thats smooth and favors the malt base well.

For some reason this stuff just glides right down with some amazing ease. Really nice to drink. Smooth and just the right amount of flavor and body to get its 'point' across. But an APA? I don't think so. I totally thought I was drinking an Amber. Styles aside, this one favored well with me.

The pour is a dark amber color with good clarity and hints of red hue throughout. A good fluffy head that stayed around for a while but did dissipate to the edge of the glass. Good lacing to start as well and did decrease over time.

The nose has a good portion of hops and some malty undertones. The hops have a spicy overtone with a slight lemony citrus finish. The malt has some basic essence but some caramel touches and a touch of some astringent blends to boot.

The taste is well balance with malt being slightly more dominate then the hops. The malt to start has a creamy flavor with some very light roasted and sweeter caramel finish to it. Not too much of complexity but hints of bready or biscuit notes are present and accentuates the creaminess to the beer. The hops blends well with a light bitterness that is followed up with a citrus finish that is more of an orange flavor then lemony. A sweet finish overall.

The body has a mid to full feel. This is helped by the creaminess of the beer but it does finish with a slight dry texture. Carbonation is a little high but appropriate.
