Old Review
12 oz bottle from a sixer of a buddy of mine brought over to the house. Figured what the hell.
A: Pours a a light honey color that is a bit hazy and cloudy. A finger of white head rose up pretty fast but diminished almost quicker than that. Really had no retention and lacing was not really existent. Pretty run of the mill.
S: Smell is of some wheat, clean water, and citrus. The citrus is dominated by orange and smell more like the rind than the meat of the orange. Other than that, the nose is pretty weak.
T: This basically tastes like a blue moon with an artificial orange flavor already added. I can see where they were going since so many people like their Blue Moons with an orange slice workin in their (myself included), but the orange flavor is just a bit too artificial and candied. Its not bad, just not the same or better than a Blue Moon with orange.
M: The is is a light bodied brew that is pretty damned crisp and refreshing. It goes down very easy and is very quenching. Very little aftertaste and of course there is no hint of ABV.
D: Pretty drinkable. Since the beer is so simple and goes down so easy it makes it easy to drink one after another. The flavor is sweet and refreshing. Good yard work beer. Not shabby.
