Incidentals: Shipped to me from Cali (thanks, k3n!). Bottle overflowed upon opening. None of the carbonation appears to be lost.

Appearance: Average. Deep amber, nice color, nice head (if a little thin), product is still bubbling 15 minutes after pouring. Bottle proclaims nothing to indicate otherwise, so I'm assuming this beer is filtered (it has a very clear look to it).

Smell: Slightly above average. Obviously, a winter seasonal is going to be a bit more spicy/aromatic than a typical brew. Nice, but not overpowering aroma. Reminds me of potpourri and Christmas.

Taste: Good. Brew is a very good example of a holiday seasonal. Not overpowering, but a nice taste and feel on the sides of the tongue. Good spiciness without being over the top.

Mouthfeel: Average. A cop out. As my first-reviewed beer, I'm not sure what to look for or expect. To my mouth, it feels like a beer.

Drinkability: Good. Certainly not a specimen for quaffing a whole six-pack, but perfect for sharing at the holiday taste-fest that Thanksgiving and Christmas have become to me.

Food accompaniment: A good first beer of the night, or perfect for after-dinner in front of a fireplace. Not a good choice for corn chips, but would go well with sweetened nuts or other holiday snacking.

Nice looking brew. Sweet cinnamon, spice smell. Real nice flavor, lots going on. Taste like ginger bread? Very solid seasonal.
