A - Pours a bright peach/apricot colored body with a big chill haze to it. Head is fizzy and soapy looking, but leaves a nice thick coating on the surface.

S - Light belgian estery yeast smell. Pears and apples. White grape juice. Almost smells like it was in white wine barrels for a while.

T - Starts off sweet, with some dry white wine character and a bit of apple juice. White grape juice combines with floral hops to creat a strange combination. Estery yeast flavors come in lightly and remain for a second. Finishes with more of that white wine flavor, white grapes and a distinct dryness.

M - Medium bodied and dry. Carbonation is soft.

Overall - Good, not great. Would be a nice intro to beer for someone that is a white wine drinker, as I think it borders the wine/beer border some.

A: Vibrant rust color with some haze to it. Head started out really fizzy but settled down into a nice inch tall off white sudsy lump.

S: White grapes, pear, Midori, apple pie and crust, carrot centers and cooked strawberries.

T: Starts out with a delicate sweetness, much like a watery cider or muted pinot gris. Little bit of honey suckle with floral hops give it almost saison moments. And since the sweetness is so delicate, dryness can come through in the finish. Almost a mineral taste which reminds me of a carbonated water. Ends with some minor alcohol vapors, little bit dry and perhaps even refreshing.

M: Medium body, soft mouthfeel.

D: underwhelming. I usually like all these specialty Allagash beers. This one is sort of boring.
