Surf Alaska but only in the summer. Pours golden yellow with a light off white head. Not a great pour but the foam did die out completely.

The smell is limited with mostly citrus hopes but under line pine and lemon peel were there too. Malt was limited but some basic pale and grainy aromas. Some lighter biscuit touches as well.

The taste has more of a lemon flavor at first. Ok bittering but limited overall. The citrus comes out a bit more as taste pallets gets use to the hoppy flavors. The malt is more in balance than the nose indicated but really doesn't bring much to the taste.

Lighter side of medium bodied but very easy to drink. Carbonation seemed a bit low and probably could have helped out the bittering. Overall not much with depth but something you could drink on a regular basis.

A: Dull honey copper color with lots of bubbles stuck to the side of the glass. Head is medium sized, straight up off white color.

S: Soapy caramel, marshmallow orange with a little bit of lemon. Not bad.

T: Begins smooth and buttery with a little bit of old tangerine, caramel and grapefruit zest. Little bit of yellow apple, little bit of yellow pear after the swallow with aspects of limestone. Finishes with some green citrus rind and a low level substantial bitterness.

M: Medium body, some carbo sting.

D: Not a bad beer. Certainly drinkable. Not a lot of depth or complexity.

Served In: Tulip
