I had this today at the Wonder Bar in Casper.
It poured a bright and clear gold with an inch of billowy foam that left a lot of lacing behind after every sip.
The smell is hoppy...biggest notes came from the citra hops; citrus and light hints of tropical fruit. There's some earthy malt in there as well.
The taste brought the citrus to the forefront, lemon-tropical fruit-grapefruit, followed by some earthy/grainy notes from the malt. The finish is decidedly bitter and quite dry.
Good mouthfeel overall.
It's a very nice, hop forward APA that I found very damn drinkable and refreshing. Who'd have thunk that I'd get to drink it in Casper Wyoming? Very nice indeed, Alaskan Brewing!
